PARASHÁH`S COMMENTARY

“ISRAEL`S REDEMPTION”

The book of Shemot/Names with which this parashah begins, is the continuation of a collective man´s life cycle, Israel, made up by the Jews by blood and by faith. Be Reshit/“Gen.”, the prior book, talks about the five phases of Israel and of its main ancestors, Avraham, Itzkhak, and Yaakov, of their birth and life, after the birth and life of the Universe. In this second book which begins this week, the book of Shemot, it talks about Israel´s redemption from slavery under Mitzraim/Egypt´s Pharaon/Pa/RO.

The following books of the Torah talk about Israel´s sanctification (Vaikrah/And He called/“Lev.”, the tests through which Israel went through (Ba Midbar/In the desert/“Numbers”) and the Divine Government which Israel lived and keeps on living (Dvarim/Words/“Dt.”

ISRAEL´S REDEMPTION AND THAT OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE

Israel´s redemption, of which this book (of the Torah) beginning this week, is an allegory of Israel´s redemption and of every individual Jew (by blood or by faith) from ha satan and his army. This redemption, this going out of the Spiritual Mitzraim (Egypt), is done by the five themes written in this book of Shemot, which are: (1) the oppression in Mitzraim (Egypt); (2) theliberation from the oppression from Mitzraim; (3) the education in the desert of those redeemed from Mitzraim; (4) the consecration of those redemmed from Har Sinai/Mount Sinai; and (5) the worshipping of those redeemed in the Tabernacle, Priesthood, and the ritual.
This liberation of the Jewish People begins with the oppression and slavery in Mitzraim and the preparation of the liberator, Mosheh, and the fight against the oppressor, the Pa/RO (Pharaoh) and his people and his redemption by blood, and the institution of Pessakh/“Passover” as a symbol of that redemption, in a second phase.
A third phase comes with the education through the tests in the desert of those redeemed from Israel. A fourth phase constitutes the commandments by itself, the acceptance of the Torah by the Israelis, the golden calf, the breach of the original boards, and the second boards.
A fifth and last phase constitutes the Israelis blessing in the Tabernacle, the taking place of the Priesthood, and the decline of the Spiritual Presence of the Kavod/Glory of Elohim in the Tabernacle.

THE REDEMPTION OF THE JEWS BY FAITH IN THE WORLD

This five phase process, two thousand years afterwards, is repeated this time, through the creation of the Messianic Judaism by Yeshua, Elohim “made flesh” (John 1:14) in order to include in the physical Israel, the spiritual Israel, made up by those souls which desire and accept to be inserted in the Jewish tree of Romans 11:17 and to cease being gentiles (“idolaters”, according to the Larousse Dictionary, page 525).
The first stage of this second period of the history of Israel begins with Yeshua Himself as the incarnated Torah, instead of being taught and disseminated by Mosheh in the First Century, and a stage which was cut at the end of that century.
The second stage, that which I call “Messianic Renewed Judaism”, begun circa 1980 until His Second Coming, (very soon), while it is being disseminated all over the world. Both the Messianic Judaism I, of the first Century, as the Messianic Judaism by blood, of our days, does and will fulfill the five phases of the redemption of the Jewish People by blood, as is mentioned above, only that it will be done by the “Jews by faith,” according to what we say above, only that this phase is going to be realized by “the Jews by faith” and those Jews by blood which did not believed in Yeshua.
The equivalent of the first phase, the oppression in Mitzraim is the oppression by ha satan, from which we have come out and we have entered into the Kingdom of Elohim, even though the enemy keeps attacking us, with the permission of Elohim, but we belong to Elohim, not to ha satan.
The equivalent of the second phase, the liberation of the oppressed, and the liberation by blood, now is being done by Yeshua´s blood, a great deal more powerful and effective than the blood of the lambs.
The equivalent of the third phase, the education of those redeemed in the desert, which is our present life, continues in us, which are put under the test daily sometimes, to learn and to correct the errors and sins committed, to be cleaned by His Blood.
The equivalent of the fourth phase, the consecration of those redeemed in Mount Sinai, takes place when we begin to comply with Moshe´s Torah, not only through our will, but with the constant help of Yeshua living inside of us through the Ruach ha Kodesh/The Holy Spirit.
This fourth phase takes all the rest of our lives to learn it, since it is not simple, especially for those Jews by faith which have arrived to Messianic Judaism at an advanced age, so they have to understand and change everything they believed in and did in their previous religions. All Messianic Jews have problems in this sense, since changing is very difficult, and to change almost everything we believed, is doubly as difficult, depending on each person´s character. There are Messianic Jews who change quickly, without great problems, and there are others that take years to change a small custom, depending on each one´s character. One of the main problems for changing consists in that we ignore Yeshua in our daily life, although we know He lives inside ourself, we continue to live in our ego, doing OUR will, instead of doing His will, day after day, matter after matter. This is, without doubt, the most difficult thing: to change our ego, our will for His Will.
Another problem consists in the teachings we receive. Some “Christians” teach we should not abide any more on the Bible´s commandments, now that we have Yeshua with us. This teaching completely invalidates this fourth phase, and almost makes it impossible to change this fourth phase, and almost makes it impossible to change a great part of our personality, since, without the commandments, and without Yeshua´s help, change is impossible, or very little, only in those little things we were willing to change without a great effort in us.
Another example of teaching which do not help us to change are translations. We need very good Messianic translations which says what the original passage in the original Hebrew in which the Renewed Covenant/Brit Khadashah was written. The problem is that Christian insist, against all evidence to the contrary, that the Brit Khadashah was written originally in Greek, which is a big mistake. In the Brit Khadashah we translated in 2012, it took me eight and a half years to have a good translation. Luther made it in six weeks! The results are still showing today!
The equivalent of the fifth phase, worshipping, the Tabernacle, and the ritual, is, maybe, of the five phases, the one that is in the biggest darkness, especially the Tabernacle. We don´t understand—to give a single example, that in First Peter 2:4-5,7 is says (and in other verses), that Yeshua is the Foundation of the Third Temple, and each one of us are a stone of it. We also have problems with worshipping and ritual, for the same reasons that we do not manage the Commandments well: because we don´t allow Yeshua to teach us everything, who lives inside us, precisely to teach us everything.
However, and despite all the mentioned (and not mentioned) problems, Elohim IS with us, in our side, helping us as much as we allow Him, not only to do His will, but to do in a spiritual way the book of Shemot/Exodus, as this parashah begins now. May this be also a beginning of our dependence of Yeshua and our coming closer to Him, to accomplish everything the book of Shemot wishes us to learn!

Sarah conceived and bore a son to Avraham in his old age, at the set time of which Elohim had spoken. 3. Abraham gave his newborn son, whom Sarah had borned him in her old days, the name of Itz/KHAK (“and he laughted”).

Mish/LEI/”Prov” 22:6: “Train the Young man in the way he has to walk/Khanokh le na/AR al pi dar/KO. When he becomes mature, he will not deviate from it.”

COMMENTARY OF THE PARASHAH
KHINUCH: TRAINIING OUR SONS AND GREATSONS TO BE AS THEY SHOULD BE

In the Ta/NAKH we see how Avraham, as the patriarch of the nation of Israel, as the patriarch of the nation that he was, trained (others) with his example to those who were around him, to become what they should become and be, from his sons and greatchildren, He trained them with His own example what to do and be, from his sons and greatsons, to his own wife.

“Khi/NUKH”means “education”,“training,” and “inauguration.” There is nothing more important that the period of inauguration. It marks a precedent behind which everything else flows. It is the map indicating the director one is going to. In the life of a child, of a Little child or a Jewish Messianic Young man, Khi/NUKH is the introduction to a Messianic Jewish life for our children and greatchildren.

Starting with the Khi/NUKH, the Messianic Jewish child experiments his entrance to everything the Messianic Jewish life represents. Every value and ideal of a Messianic Jew, like the total trust in our Elohim, the study of the Tanakh, and the Renewed Covenant and of the Torah (the laws and prohibitions, i.e. “the Law”, and the good and the required character traits.) All values and ideals of a Messianic Jew (by blood or by faith), as the trust of our Elohim, the study of the Torah and the Renewed Covenant, are stamped in the soul of a Messianic Jew in the years most delicate and impressionable, the years of his childhood.

It is being transmitted, both directly as indirectly, through the life model of his/her parents—the rich, I would say “very rich” legacy of his/her parents—a legacy which is inherited from his/her parents, the Khi/NUKH. This direct and indirect education and training by the example of our family members, will be transmitted, without having to be formal, but indirectly, through the example you can see, our children will pass to their own children, in an endless heritage, which brings innumerable blessings from Elohim, who is supervising everything from His Throne.

The child who gets used to observe with enthusiasm and joy to a life of observancy of the mitz/VOT, is most probable to choose to go on following this way, once he/she gets to be an adult.

Khi/NUKH/training, molds the child into having Khi/NUKH for the rest of his life, and takes away the negative character traits and brings automatically positive traits, more so if his parents are already with (most of) these traits. This training shapes into a Messianic-Jewish soul with a Torah and Messianic perspective, regarding the Nature and role of Yeshua in their lives, and with this perspectiva Olamit (a Hebrew expression meaning a world perspective) of the Torah, and about the role and nature of Yeshua in our lives. With this perspective, it shapes a Messianic-Jewish group of traits, it gives him/her the mental and emotional tools with which to confront and manage a Jewish Messianic soul with a Messianic Jewish perspective, regarding the Nature and role of Yeshua in our lives and with a Messianic Jewish perspective, it gives him/her the mental and emotional tools to face any vissicitudes that may arise. And with this Jewish and Messianic perspective, it provides the mental and emotional tools to face life´s vicissitudes in order to love Elohim, Yeshua and the RU/akh ha KO/desh and to have an iron trust and an unalterable and an enormous trust in Him which will allow him to live a Jewish-Messianic life which is complete and full of His revelations and teachings.

PARASHAH'S COMMENTARY
THE ONLY LEGITIMIZED PEOPLE AND AUTHORIZED BY ELOHIM

In this parashah a subject very very important is being discussed without any doubts, conclusively and with no going around, a supremely important subject for all believers in Elohim and in the God of Israel: the legitimization of the Jewish People, both by blood as by faith, as the Unique People which are Elohim´s heritage.

In the verse above we see how Elohim had already destined all the non Jewish/Goyim nations to idolatry, knowing they would be substituting the ESSENCE of a Supreme Being by his APPEARANCE, i.e., that they would be worshipping the celestial bodies, animals, and other things created by Him, instead of worshipping He Himself. Who, or whom is being worshipped in all the millions of religions around the world? Apparently, the moon, and whatever animal or tree one can imagine, which is being worshipped and is given gifts in order to protect oneself from them and to get from them what every man wishes: basically daily food and the protection from our enemies.

Elohim, in his deep wisdom/khakh/MAH, already knew all of this would happen, so he destined and delivered all of humanity—with the exception of the Jewish People “His inheritance”—to these abominations (from the spiritual point of view), where demons appearing as the sun, the moon and celestial bodies appear.

But besides His Wisdom/Khakh/MAH is His rakhma-NUT, so He left the door opened so that any person, from any race or people, could be inserted into the Jewish tree (Rom.11) and that way become a part of His inheritance, of His only People, as it is written in Rom. 11:17-19. This is a relatively new concept we should record us in our hearts and minds: not only are there Jews by blood, but there are also Jews by faith, as the majority of our readers, which have realized the Absolute Truth of Judaism and its spiritual continuation, Messianic Judaism, with Yeshua as the Mashiakh and Body of Elohim (Yochanan 1:14.). Both motions are inseparable, if the Truth of Elohim wishes to be clear, and conserved.

You cannot separate the feet from the rest of the body. Scriptural Judaism (not the Rabbinical one) is the head; Messianism is the spirit/RU-akh and the physical feet of scriptural Judaism. BOTH form ONE inseparable body, if we wish to know the absolute truth.

The other side of the coin is the responsibility which we, the Jews by blood and by faith have in front of Elohim, because we were the ONLY PEOPLE chosen to be the inheritance of the Universe´s Creator.

The other side of the coin is the responsibility that we, Jews by blood and by faith have in front of Elohim. Inheritance does not come without responsabilities nor obligations.

The passage that best resumes these obligations, in our opinion, is the armor of Ephesians 6:13:18, where it mentions the truth as our belt, our breastplate of tzeda/KAH/going straight on, and tying our feet of the good news of shalom/peace; and the helmet of victory and the spade of the Ruakh to receive what Elohim has to give us.

The word “pra/TI” is Elohim´s word for YOU, NOW, not “the word of God”, as we have been wrongly taught. It is an inmediate instruction for a specific person, for a specific problem. The “kl/AL” word is the word of Elohim, i.e, the Tanakh. (Many mistakes in translations have been done with these two Hebrew words.)

In second place, observe that what adjust all of the armour is the Truth/e/MET, something very dear to the Messiannic Jewish Movement (us). We have always been behind the true truth, no matter who is after us or against us, since the most effective weapon for ha satan is deceit and disinformation, besides fear.

In third place, we have to put on the armour of the breastplate of tzeda/KAH/straight path. This breastplate is made up, from the outside, by the Commandments of the Torah in the Tanakh, i.e., those things we should train ourselves to do and behave like to make Elohim happy and to become what He wishes us to become. This is the real meaning of “Brit Khadashah”/Renewed Covenant”. Both parts complement each other, since Yeshua does not pretend from us nothing that is not in the Torah, in the mitz/VOT/commandments, only that for Him and through Him everything went inside (us).

The beso/ROT, the good news Yeshua can give us is salvation to all the Goyim an insert them in the tree of Romans 11, which brings us peace/sha/LOM, to our heart and mind. That common thought of the persons who do not know Elohim: “What will be of me in the future?” We lose our prior fear of death and the uncertainty of “what will be of me in the future”? When somebody news comes to our Mesianic synagogue, Yeshua whispers in our ears: ´Help him in what he needs´. I have some very funny anecdotes about Yeshua hearing us: I have the bad habit of putting my glasses everywhere, and in 5 seconds, I forgot where I left it. So I go: “Táierele (querido) Yeshua, where did I put my glasses!?” And in a second later, or sooner than that I move my head and—bingo! There are my glasses. All day I am asking Yeshua where I left this, or that, or this, and He answers me in less than a second!

The next thing are the beso/RÓT, the good news that Yeshua can give salvation to all of us, to all the Goim and insert them in the tree of Romans which gives us shalom/peace in our heart and mind. This does not mean we will not have any problems. Many of us already lost faith and fear death and have uncertainty of the type “What will become of me in the future?” This is the enormous difference between any man on the street who fears death and the Messianic Jew (by blood and/or by faith). The one that believes by faith knows that if He has a problem he can always appeal if he has a problem, be it “where did I left my glasses” to “from where will I take the enormous quantity of money I need to pay so and so?”.

We also have the helmet of victory which protects us from the thoughts that ha satan throws us via his demons´s swords in order to let us believe everything is going wrong. He induced us to believe this or that. What we must do is to think to ourselves: “I wont allow that ha satan puts thought and feelings in us and temptation, so I will sin. I´m going to ask Elohim for the helmet of victory and the whole armour of Yeshua ha Mashiach. (Every time I deliver people, when we have our weekly meeting of the Messianic Synagogue three times a week, and it is around 30 people per time, three times a week, c. 100 times a week, I take out from each person, circa 30 demons.

And next, we have the pra/TI spade (the specific word for the specific person, for a specific problem), which is one the most powerful weapons we can receive in our spiritual life. Can we know how to solve my “patient” problem? Of course not! But the pra/TI word of Elohim or Yeshua, the specific advice for us coming from Elohim or Yeshua DOES solve it and I tell him/her what to do it AND IT WORKS!

And lastly we all have to do these things in total perseverance. THERE IS NOTHING WITH ELOHIM which does not need perseverance. If you wish to become a man/woman of prayer you need PERSEVERANCE. We need it to all things of the spiritual, but also of the flesh.

PARASHAH'S COMMENTARY
THE SEVEN LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS

Mosheh received four suggestions from his father-in-law Itró (Shemot/”Ex.” 18:13) regarding men with certain characteristics/mi/DO regarding certain kinds of men with certaiin mid/OT/caracter signs to name shoftim/”judges” for Israel: “Fearful of Elohim,” men who walk in the truth and who hate greed” and he, Mosheh, said he was looking for men with three additional caracter traits, men who walk in the truth and hate avarice,” and he Mosheh, was looking with men with additional traits: tzadikim/just, straigtforward, and additional midot: “tzadikím/just, open to His People, just (in the Torah) rectos, wise and full of interior pereception, wise and full of an interior perception of things/navo/NIM, and men of testimony.”Let´s examine these seven characteristics/midot to measure our present day societies and that of Israel in the time of Mosheh.

“FEARFULL OF ELOHIM”

The “spirit of fear”/Ir´AT Ado/NAI” is mentioned several times in the Torah. It is not just a human feeling, but a “specialization of the RU/akh ha KO/desh of Elohim, which we should ask and we shall receive. There is an ENORMOUS lack of fear of Elohim in almost all Messianic Jews in the world. We walk and act as if Elohim was distracted in the moment we are sinning and as if He would not notice in what we are sinning about, and in what we just said or done or planned. Do we truly believe Elohim is a fool, and is a “God full of love” and therefore, we should not be have to fear Him? How wrong we are! Those who are fearful of IHVH are those who have seen Him “functioning,” who know from Elohim that sees everything and that we are no longer sinning against our brothers and sisters for a long time, because He is an Elohim of Justice.

On the other side, we have seen, very, very Little “RU/ach ir/AT Ado/NAI in en world of believers; most of the blame, I believe is because it is not taught; most of the blame is because it is not taught; and whatever is still there is because we don´t think we should be afraid of Him; but the consecuences of this lack of fear are various: we are not to continue to grow in the Spirit if we do not have fear; on the other hand, our future is not going to be good, if we do not live with Him in fear, believe me. Everything we have can go over to the bottom of the ocean, or into an accident, ora an illness, all because we did not wished to hear His voice of warning.The Israelis could not have fear of Elohim because they have had seen Elohim punishing the Egyptians, for the Israelis could not have fear of Elohim because they had not yet seen Elohim punishing the Egyptian, so they no longer believed in an Elohim who chastised Israel´s enemies.

We imagine that when Elohim stopped doing miracles at the outgoing of Mitz/RAIM, the Israelim begun to believe and begun to believe again in an Elohim who chastised and who gives way gifts, and fear begun to arise again in the people, but not enough so that Mosheh found men who had it. The RU/ach Ir/AT Adonai begun again to believe in a Elohim which chastices and who gives Premiums, and fear again begun to increase among the people, but not enough for Mosheh to find men who had it.

Elohim needs slaves whho fear Him, not employees with a monthly salary, and vacations, nor employees with a monthly salary who laught at His back, as if He would be deaf and dumb to everything they do and say.

“MEN WHO WALK IN THE TRUTH”

The truth is not easy; it is highly lighter to walk along the wide road of convenience, and say whatever is appropriate in any given momento, convenient for both sides. As we always, there is an outside truth and an interior truth. Truth is not easy; it is much more easy to walk along the wide path of covenience, and say whatever is convinient at the momento, and both parts. As we always say, there is an inner truth and an outer truth. Inner truth is that of our true carácter, not the mask we Project to the public that is watching us, but our true carácter. Elohim expects in the very short time we have left, to leave behind all deceits and from our side to look the truth and follow it no matter the price we have to pay for it.

The Israelies were very influenced when they came out of Mizraim, with the daily duties, of eating every day and to survive, so they had no time to worry with “Little things” as the truth, both outside truth as well as inside truth. We are also getting out of Mitzraim, like the Israelis, but of a Mitzraim of the deceit we have lived for many centuries. We have to ask for hunger and thirst of the Truth20 in order to receive it.

“who hate greed, are tzadi/KIM, and go with the tzeda/KAH, (IN THE THORAH)”

If Elohim had only ten men in Latinamerica who would “hate greed” and were “hateful of greed,” and be “upright/have tzedakáh” what would Elohím not do with our pour countries, full of greed and deceit, greed, and money greed, and twisted minds, pawned into greed, deceit, and cheating the brother of ours? I am not talking of common men, of idolaters. I am speaking of Elohim´s men, those who say and believe what we say, who follow the Elohim of Israel. It is considered much more “valuable” to have a new car that something “non-important” as Khakh/MAH. The problem of what there is so little in the world is because nobody gives it a lot of value.

“gifted with inner perceptioon of thing/navo/NIM”

The difference between a Khakam and a na/VON (the one who has inner perception of things) is a question of degrees. Each Word, each concept has an external, apparent meaning, and an inner meining, essence. The na/VON is the one who is full of the Ruakh of Elohim in order to penetrate the essence of each Word.

In the matters of leadership, this is much more important. Who is lying to us? The person who is coming to complain about his spouse, or her spouse? Only the Ruakh ha Kodesh can tell us.

“of good testimony”

Good testimony is being more and more neglected in the Messianic Jewish Synagogues and it is a bad mistake. Each one of us of good testimony is being more and more soft and is accumulating more and bad testimony. Each one of us accumulates a trayectory with his years of ministry, be it writing, be it judging, in deliverance, in counseling or in whatever work Elohim makes us do. Responsible lidership begins from a good testimony, not simply from habilities of doing good things, error sor sins. If any leader commits errors without stop, he/she should be discarted.

If you can know why things do not function well in Messianism, see how many people have one or more of Moshe´s qualities, see how many persons have one or more of the quality that Mosheh had and his father-in-law Itro searched among the Israelis and ask yourself how many of these qualities do YOU have. The response is automatic: There is no good leadership because the leaders do not have any of the quoted qualities of characters.

The basis of every leader is his fear of Elohim. If the beginning of his congregation he has fear of Adonai, everything will be good, because Elohim is guiding him. If he himself does not have it, ask for another congregation, look for another congregation, believe me; it is the best you can do, because everything will go from bad to worse, eventually.

PARASHÁH'S COMMENTARY
THE TEN STEPS TOWARDS ELOHIM

In this parasháh, we speak about forty two camps where the Jewish People camped in forty two camp son its way to the Promised Land. In prior parashot we have talked about some of these. In this occasion we will specifically touch the first ten camps, its symbolic meanins and its relationship with our life.

1. RAMSÉS

“Ram/SES” means “the sun god.” From there came out the Israelies, on their way to Israel. This name is very significant, because from there, we can say all of us came out in our pilgrimage on their way to Israel. Great numbers, enormous groups of Israelis, which are called “religions” by every one, worship “the sun god,” i.e, Ramses, in Egypt, but is known all over the world with another Word. disemminated all over the world. This is both real, but also symbolic. It is real in the sense that there are billions of people worshipping the god sun, with different names—like Mithra, Tamuz, etc., only with different names, such as “Diós”/Diós” in Spanish. It is symbolic, because it represents PARTS of our past, full of deceit and falsifications, which we followed in our spiritual ignorance. (I say “parts of our past,” because as I said, the whole world, for instance, there are 1.2 BILLIONS (according to BBC news, with more than 40% living in Latin America, because it represents our own past, full of deceits and falsifications, whom we followed in our spiritual deceits. It represents our own past, our own spiritual ignorance. This past, for us, Messianic Jews all over the world, it is the present for many believers who know nothing about the deceits they are immersed in--like the Kaba/LAH. But coming out of deceit—unfortunately—is not Elohim´s job, but ours. (I have added the numbers, because as Korzibsky himself taught it, there are levels in everything, so I made up (in this specific case), truth1 to truth20.)

Elohim gave us and gives usa ll the weapons at His disposal, which are incredible. I could write a whole book about it, and probably I will, because they are incredibly new and unknown of, most of them, nota ll.

Internet is one of the most powerful weapons in favor of Absolute Truth (Truth20) is one of the most powerful weapons that came out of the darkness in the last twenty centuries. (Did you know the Vatican PROHIBITED to read the Bible to their members? And that prohibition was annuled in 1947!) Do you wish to know the origin of at least Sun-day and Christmas? You don´t have to enter Internet and “google” more than a minute and “presto”! you will have tens of thousands of pages that reveal to you the true Thruth20 about these two Mitraistic (“Catholic”) lies!

Today nobody can lie and say: “Ah! But I had no idea because I was a pagan thing to do that! Where would I know that?” As we saw a short while ago on one of our parashot, the belt of the truth20 of Eph. 6 adjusts us ALL our armour, and we can use all of the rest of terribly forceful weapons with a lot more effectiveness, since the truth20 adjusts us all our armour, and we can use ALL the truth available, even in Google (which means the whole world). So that in Ramses´campo/makha/NE we can leave all of what is deceit and a lie from Ramses and from ha satan and go on towards the coming camp, free of lies.

2. SUKKOT/CABINS

Sukót represents to be in the presence (Korzibski and Dam would say: Presence20) would of the Elohim of Israel. This is the most important experience in our eternal lives eternas. I emphasize the word “experience” and not “religion” or “doctrine”, since these last two words do not have any value at all. The only thing, us, the World Messianic Judaism (WMJ) is going after is to have and to transmit this experience with ADONAI. Religions are useless and a source of massacres. (Remember Auschwitz?) Persona experience with ADONAI is enormously uself and a source happiness, shalom, and a life full of trust in Him.

All our efforts should be routed to achieve and maintain this relationship (two different and extremely difficult things to do=this relatioship.) If we should have to explain this relationship with a single Word, we would say “talk”, since this is the Word within our movement, the WMJ, of what the world or the religions try to do. We, in the WMJ would say: “to talk”, since this is our definition of learning with ADONAI talking to us; this is what the world or the religions call “to pray” (they mean “to repeat the same words over the over all the times we “pray.”)

If we only have a one person saying always the same to Elohim or Yeshua we are in level one in Yaakov´s ramp, in Hebrew: su/lamp. I If we only have the same “prayer” we are a long way from being in prayers14 with Elohim, which includes, talks12, revelations20, jokes12, etc. If we only have a prayer, we are in the first step of Yaa/KÓV´S su/lam. If we have a conversation with Elohim and with Yeshua every day, we are a long way up of prayer15. But if this conversation is a MUST everyday, then we are in THE RIGHT TRACK, AND IN THE ONLY WAY UP, we are in prayer20. To have a DAILY conversation with Elohim and/or Yeshua we are in the RIGHT WAY AND AT THE TOP. 3. Et/AM

The next stop of the Israeli people was in E/TAM, which means “way to the see.” The next stop of the Israeli People was in Etam, (salted) sea water, which means “on the way to the sea.” The (salted) sea water, as we have revealed in our books, is a symbol of the ahavah love20 (sacrificla, spiritual) of Elohim for all humanity. In other words, those who stop worshipping demons and find the only true Elohim, the Jewish One, begin to walk in a right way, in a way towards receiving the indiscriminate love, sacrifical love of Elohim/Aha/VAH. In another words, those who stop worshippingEn otras palabras, aquellos que dejan de adorar a We all have right to this kind of ahavah, but not all of us note it, nor appreciate it. Only those who have gone out of ha satan´s darkness and we have found the truth20, are in condition to appreciate and benefit without any limit to have reached ahavah20 and benefit from all the blessings coming with it, without deserving it.

4. PÍ AJIRÓT/PLACE OR REEDS

The fourth camping is Pi Akhi/ROT, THE PLACE OF Pí AKHI/rót. The redes are water tres. Since the sea is ahavah from Elohim, we are the reeds which are sea reeds. Like the sea is ahavah from Elohim, we are the sea reeds which are surrounded from his ahavah, so that we the reeds are marine reeds, so that we grow surrounded by His constant care and His care and His generosity and of His constant and invisible care. Every day that nothing happens to us is because Elohim is guarding us, but we do not see Him, and yet does not happen to anything bad. We do not see Him, but His ahavah, His sacrifice and that preocupation for us goes unnoticed. Pí Ajirót/Place of Reeds is a place to delight us with His care and His preocupation for us and to bless Him. 5. MIGDÁL/TOWER

To have fun in the place of reeds, can easily makes up believe life is easy and that danger passed away, but danger NEVER went away. Only that Elohim is holding, on His mercy. Being more than happy is to be rejoicing in the place of reeds. Being rejoicing in the place of reeds can easily make us believe like is easy and the danger is over, but the danger NEVER is over. It is only that Elohim is putting a stop to it, by His mercy, but that does not mean that we should not be constantly on guard and to analize things that happen to us day after day, to rummage, and to be rejoicing in the place of reeds. But that does mean that we should see and investigate if it is normal or if can come from a spiritual attack.

6. MARÁH/BITTER

In our daily life, not everything not everything is always great. There are always, and there can by sometimes that we can be undergoing bitter moments, and trials. We always say that there are bitter monts and life is a “Russian Mountain,” with its ups and down. These downs can be always taken advantage to learn what is happening with us and to learn and way that the way down is over and the going up begins, with no doubt it will come.

Mahu have being taught that life with Elohim is like a “stop suffering,” but it is not that and we better understand it. Suffering is a manner of teaching which Adonái has for us a method for us to understand many things, errors, and our deviations from our rightful path. To suffer is a style of teaching which Elohim has to change our mistakes and our deviations from the right path. We must understand it, and not complain, but to learn and goa head, hoping to get up in the Russian Roulette, which will very son come, as soon as learn the bitter lesson we are undergoing.

7. EILÍM/OAK TREES

As we just said, suffering makes us stronger, like oak trees. We are no longer the weak survivors of the Egyptiam/Mitzr/AIM, as we already said; suffering make us stronger tan oakes tres. We are no longer the week survivors of the Egyptian/Mitzraim slavery, under the Pa/RO/Mitzráim. As we said before, suffering makes us stronger, as oaks. We are no longer the weaker survivors of the Egyptian slavery, under the Pa/RO of Mitzraim/Egypt, who is a symbol of ha satan, as we said; suffering makes stronger, like oaks.

8. SIN/CLAY

Clay is a symbol of the change Elohim wishes to do with us. We are the jars and He is the potter. He wishes to make us of jars of honour, but we must let Him do the molding, and do not flee away from His hand of ahavah, even though at times it is painful. Nothing suffers in our daily life, today, which is not His will, in order TO BLESS US. Nothing happens in our daily life, today, that is not His will for OUR GOOD. Nothing happens that is not to better us according to our prefixed destiny in His will for OUR GOOD. He know what is better for us. He knows about the hereditary things we have inherited through our forefathers. He knows what is better for us. We do not see them. He know about the educational and family. He knows what is best for us. We do not. He knows of the educational and daily labor we have to support. He knows of the educational and family charges we carry all of our lives and which do not allow us to be the jars He had prepared us to be. So we must let Him work in us, even if it hurts.

9. D0/fka/RANCHER

If we allow Him to mold us, Elohim will take with Him to his livestock, if we let Him mold us. If we do, Elohim will take us with Him, and we will be a part of livestock and will stop being alone and without our course, and we will ending up and without our course. This behaviour demands wisdom and spiritual wisdom/ jajmáh, of which there is very little. And this wisdom translates itself in humility, like Little sheep, which allow themselves to be washed Every day, Elohim takes us out to eat everyday, Elohím takes us out to eat pasture, to feed His flock.

10. ALÚSH/MUCHEDUMBRE

Finally, we meet with the crowd, with the people of the world, who wants to invade our flock, who wants to undo it, because it does not bear that we are the elect of Elohim and does everything in their power to pervert that privilege, from discrediting us And to say that there is not and can not be a "Chosen People" (Who can argue with Elohim?), To demonize and demonize us, so that no one wants to approach the People of Elohim and thus draw the blessing that that produces.

But we must rest easy, knowing that everything has its reward and its punishment: there are blessings waiting for those who have obeyed and there are curses waiting for those who have not wanted to obey and have rebelled.

We must be strong and stand firm. There are still thirty-two camps still to be found in our lives. But we should not faint, but sing and praise Elohim for what he has done for us so far, which is a lot.

But most of all, we must not let ourselves be influenced by the crowd, which, in the end, unwittingly knows that it is lost, and that it is being manipulated by Satan to try to sink them with the destiny they have in store. We must bless our enemies and at the same time isolate ourselves with Elohim under His talit (Teh./Sal.9: 5), because only there we will be safe.

PARASHAH'S COMMENTARY
THE PERSON ELOHIM WISHES US TO BE

How must the world be? How must our leaders be? How should our leaders be? How should every one of us be? Since Adam`s fall, there is a dicotomy of views in this sense, which still exists. On one hand, is the world and its hashka/PHAH/perspective; on the other side there is Elohim with His ba/NIM/sons, with their own perspective. Both are always different; however, we rarely meditate on it, and the result is that we end up building a world according to “their” hashka/PHAH/perspective, instead of doing it exclusively from the point of view of Elohim, whom we say we serve. I don't think we do it on purpose, nor conscientiously. Among other things, the pressure of the world and its ideas, its ideosphere, is enormous, and we give in to them, and we con-form (take the form) of the world, instead of allowing Yeshua ha Mashiach to take His shape inside us. We are converted by the world to its “reflex/TZE/lem and likeness/ve DMUT” instead of us converting ourselves at His reflex and likeness, since that is the reason why Yeshua came to live and die for us—among other things—and each day we look more and more like the (unbelieving) world, until there is no difference at all to perceive. Does the world like to earn something? Does the world steal because it does not have enough to live? Does the world think it can do things independently from Elohim? We are the ones who take our own decisions.

We are our own gods, in the measure that we live our own lives and we shape our own destiny. We should begin to salute each other as the Hindus do, with the two hands together, and making a reverence one to the others, greeting the “god which is in the other person,” since that is the way we behave to each other, since that is the way we behave to each other,as gods, even the non-believers. How should we have to be? Or better, how does Elohim expect us to be? Which class of leaders does Elohim wants us to be? This question is not something “light,” since as the leader is, that way is the way the messianic synagogue behaves, and each one of us—although to many it is irrelevant what this one says or teaches, but these are the exception, not the rule. The example of Yeshua, Mosheh´s successor can teach us some rules of what Elohim wishes us to be, and not what we wish to become, vis-a-vis what the world wishes from its leaders, as reflexions of themselves. For the world, a leader, be it a secular or a religious one, he should be charismatic, attractive, with a gift to talk and being easy to mix with, efficient, with a good use of his time, who has success in everything he does, who has more and more followers as time passes, and these should be more and more prosperous, which every ones chooses as the most charming and agreable; in sum, a successful leader in every sense of the word.

And what is wrong with being successful in everything one does, you may think?

Is this Yehoshuah´s profile, Mosheh´s successor? Let´s look at him a little closer. The first thing the Tanakh says about Yehoshua in the book of the same name (Yehoshua 1:2-3) is “ish asher Ruach bo/a man inside which there is Spirit.” This is the first quality, that he what this one says or teaches, but these are the exception, not the rule.

has the Ruach ha Kodesh inside himself, so that he can be guided from INSIDE by Elohim, and not by his mind and his own ideas. A man who has the Ruakh FUNCTIONING INSIDE HIMSELF is not a common man. It is the kind of man that is in constant communication with Elohim, and Elohim transmits him His will and what Elohim wishes to be done every minute of the day and every detail of each subject. Let us remember Shlomoh´s Temple. EACH MEASUREMENT of the Temple was dictated by Elohim to Shlomoh, even to the smallest detail. Every material, each form was the idea was the “copyright” of Elohim, and from no man, even though Shlomoh was the man with the strongest chachmah in all the earth, according to the Tanakh itself.

What fundamental thing does this phrase teach us, even if it sound “Ish asher Ruakh bo”? That there is no democracy with Elohim, only a rigid and strict theocracy leadered by Elohim and received by Yeshua inside each person, in every issue of the day, in each subject, from the biggest and important, to the smallest and insignificant. THIS IS A LESSON NOBODY TAUGHT YOU, ISN´T SO? The second thing we see in Yehoshua´s is that Mosheh is instructed by Elohim Himself so that he can put His hand on Yehoshua, before the whole town, especially before the Kohen/Priest, Eliezer. What does this mean “top ut His hand” over Yehoshua? That He gives him, in front of the whole people of Israel looking at them, the power, the Khakhmah/acquired wisdom and the discernment and judgment from Mosheh to Yehoshua.

This is a second lesson that Elohim gives us about leadership, that the world pay attention to him. A leader is DESIGNED by Elohim and the qualities of his predecessor are transferred to him by Elohim´s order. There was no voting in Israel to see who the Israelis wanted to follow after Moshe, who was the most popular leader, so he would be chosen.

With Mosheh´s rights, the responsibilities of him fell on Yehoshua, which were not a few. Go and try to gobern three million Israelis! Within this delegated authority in Yehoshua are the good decisions that Elohim gives us when we are under His Talit, and doing His will, and not ours. How can a man that is in charge of three million men, women and children govern with chachmah, with good judgment, with justice/tzedakah? It is impossible! Unless Elohim is guiding him in every step, in each decisión, in each judgment, from the most insignificant ones, to the very important ones.

The third rule, which we see in Yehoshua 1:2 is: “Get up and cross the Yarden..” i.e., not only planning and thinking the things, but he takes a decision, acts, “crosses the Yarden.” This “crossing the Yarden,” is an important thing in the life of every messianic believer. The fifth rule is what Elohim tells Yehoshua: “I will not leave you, nor will I let you alone.” That is to say, we are not alone. He has not abandoned us to our destine. That is to say, we are not alone. We have to have the emunah to believe it, and take our spiritual weaponry and fight against everyone and everything, “knowing He will not leave us nor will He forsake us.”

Again, this is easy to say, but very difficult to believe, maybe because we have accustomed to live a life full of failures, and another failure only confirms what we “know”: that we are worth nothing. This might be true without Elohim, but WITH Elohim we must trust He will not leave us alone, but will give us the strength that we need.

This could be true without Elohim, but with Elohim we must trust He will give the strength we need to conquer what is ours by right and by inheritance, as part of the Chosen People that we are.

That way we shall change the type of person we are, and He will give us the class of banim/sons and leaders He wishes us to be.

May Elohim bless you and take you where He wishes you to be and to do.

PARASHAH'S COMMENTARY
ARE WE GOING TO SEE THINGS WITH OUR OWN EYES OR WITH ELOHIM'S EYERS?

We can see everything with our own eyes, and we can also ask in prayer to see everything with our open eyes given to us by Elohim. King Shlomoh in 1st Kings 3:5-9 said:”Ask whatever you wish and I will give it to you…” Now, thus, give your slave an understanding eye to judge your people, and to discern between the good and the bad.” So Elohim answered him in 1st Kings 12: “Here it is that I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so much that there has never been anyone like you, nor there will no one after you who will be put up like you.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HAVE ELOHIM'S EYES?

Our universe is made of three dimensions, in truth: a physical one, which is the one we see with our physical eyes: a mental Universe, and a spiritual Universe, some with more clarity than others. However, to have Elohim´s eyes is a lot more wider tan the “simple” seeing the spiritual Universe. It is to perceive the feelings, thoughts, and intentions of each person apart from others, and also each person can see the past, present and future, since in the spiritual Universe there exists no space-time as we know it, where everything is present, now.

This is the way Elohim sees it: He sees us as we were, are and will be. He already knows and see what we have thought, done and felt fifty years ago, yesterday, or on this very second, with the same easiness with which we see what we have in front of us.

To have the (spiritual) eyes of Elohim open and His mental eyes, is to see all of this, such as we can see us and guide us because of it, and not only because what our physical eyes can see, only in the present, which represents a millionth of something that Elohim can perceive in us, and even though He is seeing almost 8 billion people on this second, the present population of the whole world!

Perceiving with the eyes of Elohim our surroundings can be achieved through prayer, and if Elohim considers that we are ready to do something for Him with this, and not only a little whim of ours, like a new toy. He wishes and needs people who wish to to work for Him in new things such as prayer, intercede, do spiritual warfare, to advice, to lead, but He needs slaves (not “servants” as all translations have it”), to intercede. Are you willing to be a slave of Elohim?

Or just wish to see Elohim´s marvels, like one who just comes out of a business market having bought for himself the latest electronic device, to see thing before oone could not see? Everything depends on our intention, as it happened with Kind Shlomoh, who did not ask for gold, nor diamants, but wisdom, and not to be able to “invest” better, but to lead the People of Israel of Elohim.

When we need to pray for someone,it is also a must, for a good prayer, to listen to His voice, to know exactly what the person has, and what to do with his problem. Of course we can always take human decisions and pray human prayers, and not those of Elohim. When we pray for someone and we have the opened eyes of Elohim, we see things nobody else can see, except a clairvoyant, like specific problems, which may be stopping the natural life of the brother/sister we are praying for, and that he/she don´t have even a clue of what he/she really have.

As we have already said, to have Elohim´s eyes implies not onoy see what one cannot see in the physical Universe, but also see the person we are praying for as an open book, understanding a lot of things not even the very same person has a clue of what he/she has. However, Elohim knows exactly what this person has and if he/she desires to get rid of it. He made us know and He are in conditions to lead, but He needs slaves (not “servants” as all translation have put it), which do not do their own will, but Elohim´s. Are you ready to become a slave of Elohim?

Or you just see marvels done by someone? It is also very important for a good prayer to listen to His Voice, in order to know what does the person we are praying for really has and what to do with his problem. Obviously we can take human decisions, and not those of Elohim.When we pray or “deliver” (from demons), we have Elohim´s eyes and ears, like specific problems which might be putting a stop in the life of the person we are praying for. And even if he/she has a suspicion of what his problem is, suspecting is no enough to do a good prayer.

When we need to pray for someone, it is also a must—for a good prayer—to listen to His Voice, in order to know precisely what he/she is suffering from, and what to do with his /her problem. Most of the prayers I do in our Synagogue are ninety percent not physical, because it is not that our “patient” has a physical problem, but a spiritual one, which only come out via spiritual weapons.

As we said, to have Elohim´s eyes implies not only to see what can be seen in the physical world around us, but seeing the person we are delivering from, as an open book, understanding not only the things this brother understands or knows about what is bothering him, but knowing exactly what this brother has, even things he/she not even suspected.

To have Elohim´s spiritual eyes also means to be able to tell the other person the effects and strategies which are necessary to solve the problems the other person has, be them phsical (the ones less probable), psychological, (probably), physical (unprobable) or interpersonal (probable.) Many times we have surprised ourselves by the reach of what Elohim is telling us about the other person, in order to help him/her, since with His help we can see him/her with our own spiritual eyes, even before it really happens in reality, which makes this visión a lot more useful to the “patient” we are delivering, since Elohim has opened our eyes and we are not praying with our own eyes. We must ask Elohim to be able to see with His eyes instead of with ours of the positive changes our “patient” will experience.

WHAT IS TO HAVE A WISE AND UNDERSTANDING HEART AND HOW TO HAVE ONE

The second gran thing that Elohim gave Shlomoh is “a wise and understanding heart.” Wisdom/khakh/MAH is the most valuable thing Elohim can give us if we ask it from Him. In Is. 11:2 it is only at the top of line of things mentioned that He would give us. It is a very valuable thing Elohim can give us if we ask from Him, we will receive almost the very best gift of the seven which make up in the Jewish meno/RAH, which represents these seven spiritual gifts, led by the Ruakh Kah/MAH/Spirit of Wisdom.

We are able to have all seven, provided we ask for the most important of them, the Ruakh Ir/AT (Spirit of fear of Elohim) (which most writers and translators call it (wrongly) as “Spirit of respect of Hashem.” If we ask this spirit, Elohim will give us the other six, which is the right lamp on the Meno/RAH. In “Prov.” 9:10 it says that “the Fear of Adonai is the beginning of wisdom.” And that is exactly so.

What is the Ruakh Khakhma good for us? Not only to know but also to know HOW TO DO THINGS, and WHEN.

It provides us not only with a Chach/MAH, but a chach/MAH that teaches us when to act, and when NOT TO act. It also helps us to understand the Tanakh and a messianic Renewed Covenant. Wisdom helps us tremendously to know when to act, and when to be quiet and even move.

PARASHAH'S COMMENTARY
EVERYTHING WE DO NOT KNOW OF WHAT ELOHIM CREATED, WOULD FILL ALL THE WORLD´S LIBRARIES

As we mentioned in a past parashah, there are three categories of laws: the mishpatim/the ordinances, which are made for the efficient functioning of society; the khu/KIM/decrees, which are sufficiently rationable to be able to put together in a single system; and the mitz/VOT/commandments, who are not that evident as the mishpatim, but which can be organized according to its principles, with the help of studying.

On this parashah it talks about the khu/KIM/statutes as the khok of the red ka/pa/RAH adu/MAH, the red cow which belongs to the kin of rules which do not have a logical explanation and which have to be accepted without asking previous explanations to Elohim. The interesting and curious fact is that once we find and once we begin to accept them and we begin to do them, Elohim reveals to us the reason why they are, one by one, and every suddenly makes sense.

That is why as we say here, that the thing that we do NOT know about (about the world) would fill more space than all of the world´s libraries put together. That is why we should obey and do the khu/KIM/decrees and then we will understand. What is is that we do not understand? The whole world!

We do not understand our own conscious nature, not because we act as we do, be it conscienciously or unconscienciously with ourselves, with the members of our family, with our brothers in the faith or with people in our daily life. As a result of this lack of knowledge of our own being and character, we say and do things to others which we should not do or say, and then we don´t understand why is it that our relationships deteriorate, as if they would not have a reason to do so.

We do not understand our family members, nor our synagogue brothers, nor the rabbi, nor the rest of the authorities in our life, what props them, what repels them, nor what paralizes them.

We do not understand why someone is gravely ill and about to die, when his a little child. We do not understand why children die while adults around them, keep living. Everything becomes an insoluble enigma.

We do not understand the crucial moment in history in our days now. We do not understand the functioning of history. To us, history was just one of the subjects we had to study in high school, which we do not understand a single thing. We do not understand at all the things which are going to occur soon all over the world, and when it does happen we will continue not to understand what is really the reasons for it, nor the causes why they happen, neither in your present country nor in mine. Everything is a mistery to us—as mysterious as to those which are not Messiannic Jews, when, in fact, if we are close to Elohim and to Yeshua, we should be able to interpret and to foresee the TV news as an open book to our spiritual and mental minds. We should be able to anticipate what is about to happen, to prepare ourselves, but it not happening that way. As we said in the title of this parashah (portion of the Torah), what we do not understand would fill all of the world´s libraries. And that is wrong, very wrong, having Elohim and Yeshua alongside of us, present there if we wish to ask them.

The main rule to begin to understand is TO OBEY and not rebel, like Korakh did, whom we saw in our past parashah as the rebel number one against the will of Elohim. If “order is the first rule of Heaven,” as the well known English writer Pope said, our obedience is what brings obedience in our life and puts it in Heaven, where should be in the near future. THERE ARE NO REBELS IN HEAVEN! THERE ARE NO DISOBEDIENTS IN HEAVEN! “Naa/SHE ve nish/MAH is what the Jewish People said: “Let us do (first) and listen (later for the explanation). Bravo! This is the kind of obedience we should be proud of! Elohim will explain it to us in its proper time; no wonder we are His sons; He does not explain anything to anybody who is NOT His son.

Another mail rule is to develop a personal friendship with Elohim and with Yeshua, through having Yeshua beneath us. Together with obedience and acceptance, this friendship will make us develop a relationship with Elohim as our best friend, until we know Him intimately, the smallest of His thoughts, reactions, character, pleasures and things He does feel pleasure to (like sin, and desobedience), things He likes and dislikes, in sum, everything that develops among two people who are real friends. What is it that you DO NOT KNOW about you best friend? Almost nothing, right? EXACTLY THIS is what is going to happen when you develop a friendship, and a daily conversation with Him. You tell him your TZU/res (problems, in Yiddish), and He tells you how to solve them, and the relationship gets deeper an deeper and wider and wider, until you FINALLY KNOW ELOHIM as you know your best friend of your life. There is nothing better than this in our spiritual life. There is no higher goal in our spiritual walk, day to day. It is NOT easy. Ha satan will do the impossible to try to break that friendship and that relationship, in order to ruin that almost day-to-day conversation, so that you cannot reach the point of high development.

The next rule is to forgive our enemies. Unfortunately, Worldwide Messianic Judaism (WMJ) has arrived at a level of having many enemies, both from Christians, Jews, and people of other religions, without deserve it. These enemies are actively working with ha satan, although they believe themselves to be their enemies. The deviations that have surged up in WMJ are a direct answer to these prayers against worldwide Messianics. But Yeshua has left us with a rule and so thus the Torah: “Forgive your enemies.” Every day we should ask for forgiveness for our lack of forgiveness and our lack of sorry for all our enemies, those we personally know, and those we do not, but we suspect from what they say and write, that they are our greatest enemies.

The last rule os to ask aha/VAH/sacrificial love for those people who surround us, who live with us, or near us, be it members of our Messianic Synagogue, friends, relatives, son/daughters, grandsons/granddaughters.

Just like acceptance, aha/VAH is a process which develops in time and with our friendship with Elohim. When we see how much He has done for us, with a dis-interested kind of love/aha/VAH, we begin to do it to others, even without personally knowing them.

PARASHAH'S COMMENTARY
MOSHE'S AND KORAKH'S HEART

Ba Midbár/In the desert/Numbers 16:1-3: “Now Korach the son of Yitz´har, the son of K´hat, the son of Levi, along with Datan and Aviran, the sons of Eli´av, and On, the son of Pelet, descendants of Re´uven, took men and rebelled against Mosheh. Siding with them were 250 of Isra´el, leaders of the community, key members of the council, men of reputation. They assembled themselves against Moshe and Aharon…”

This parashah talks to us about the two kinds of opposite hearts which exist in the world: Moshe's kind of heart; and the type of heart like Korakh.

The fact that Mosheh and his brother Aaron had prostrated over their faces to beg Elohim, instead of taking the easy way, which was the one that Korakh and the ones who had followed him in rebellion against Moshe´s authority, and, thus, over Elohim´s authority: to argue, shout, yell, to begin a battle of words without an end in sight, reveals us their characters.

Beside the fact that Moshe and Korakh are two characters in the history of Israel, we can also perceive them as two prototypes of two different life styles an even of two types of nations, as we shall see. Mosheh, as the Torah says, was Israel´s humblest man. Unpretensious, without believing himself to be somebody important, without any pride at all, exhibited an enormous interior calm/shal/VAH and an enormous dependency from Elohim, thanks to his lack of self pride, all of those, characteristics of a leader of Elohim, those who Elohim seeks for and likes.

Korakh, on the contrary, was the complete opposite, judging from his deeds: impetuous, full of pride, ambitious of having personal fame, of being noted, independent of mood and of will, quarrelsome, revolutionary, full of nervous energy against the delegated authority of Elohim, which was Mosheh, was everything ha satan admires in a man. We cannot find, perhaps, regarding to character, any two man who are more dissimilar in the Tanakh. The inner calm/shal/VAH versus the lack of inner calm; two antagonical principles, both in men as in nations.

Moshe´s shal/VAH is born of his humility, of his not thinking himself as someone important. The person that achieves this level of humility, this opinion of himself, does not search the light, does not look for standing out over the rest, but leaves—for those who are with Elohim—that He be the one who manages his life, be it by standing him out, as He made Mosheh to stand out as leader of all Israel, or leaving him in the obscurity of anonymity. From this attitude vis-à-vis daily life and its events, comes out shal/VAH, i.e. interior calm, shalom and the lack of anxiety which all of us desire for our so agitated life if this 21th century. This does not mean that neither Mosheh, nor those who are like Mosheh do not have problems, nor causes to be nervous, or anxious. There are always causes and there will always be. What count is how we REACT to them. This reaction is part of an effort from our will and from our character, according to h how we mold it. We become like this as an effort of our will and with the enormous help of prayer and of Elohim, who is at our right side. A part of this help is to realize and to act with this realization that it is not in our hands to resolve most of our daily problems which appear during the day, but in the hands of Elohim. Since this is so, why worry?

Why try to stand out and make ourselves aware so that others see us, if we have WHO could do it for us and WHO can solve our problems? An extreme example of this shal/VAH/inner calm is present in Yeshua when He was navigating with His talmidim/followers and the wind started to blow and the talmidim begun to be afraid that the little boat would sink. However, do you remember what Yeshua did? He continued to sleep in the boat! This is an-extreme—example of a shal/VAH which is born of a trust that our lives and our security is in the hands of Elohim and not in ours.

Are you having at present a grave problem in your life? Maybe an urgent decision or an important one that does not allow you to sleep at night? A family problem that worries you? Remember Mosheh. Pray to have the shal/VAH that Mosheh had and his dependence in the Power/Gvu/RAH and the control of Elohim over His life. Prayer can change your life and your character, if you are the nervious type and those who are anxious for the future, and for what will come. Ask in prayer that Elohim give you the humility and the dependence in Him, who Mosheh had, so that you relax, together with Yeshua, and wait for Him, without having to fight on your own. At the very center of humility and trust/bita/KHON in Elohim is the inner calmness which we all aspire but do not achieve.

The word “shalom/interior peace” comes from “sha/LEM”, which means “complete, perfect.” Peace is not absence of war: there are nations which are not at war—yet—but between themselves there is neither peace. The “Sha/LEM” is that misses nothing, the complete thing. Elohim created a sha/LEM Universe, perfect, where everything combines with everything else, even though everything is different between themselves, and where exists harmony. An orchestra is a set of instruments which are all different from each other but play the same melody in total harmony: that is auditive shalom and that is why a certain type of music brings us shalom in our heart, because it already has that shalom impregnated in the harmony of the execution and of its sound.

A sentence we can adopt for our daily life to calm ourselves inside is: “I put this problem (say it aloud) in the hands of the All Power Elohim and Yeshua ha Mashiach. May Your will be done and not mine. Give me what You have to give me and not what I want.” After praying that, BELIEVE IT, and do not continue doing your own as if you never had prayed for that. BELIEVE IT! Do not keep doing your “thing” like you would have never done this, BELIEVE! Trust that Elohim heard you and will act according to your order. Trust in Him. LEARN to rest in Him.

The other option is to be like Korakh: nervious, anxious, revolutionary, independent from Elohim, searching leadership, looking to be seen and heard, searching to be the leader of your group—whatever it cost—and to Korakh it cost him that the earth swallowed him, him and his revolutionary followers which rebelled against the delegated authority in Mosheh. Rebellion against authority is the principle of ha satan and we have to escape from it if we do not wish to terminate as Korakh and his buddies.

Israel is the country of Elohim and is the one in charge of transmit this message to the world, of being the Mosheh of the nations, the humblest of the nations, the most insignificant, the least pretentious. Korakh represents all of the rest of the nations of the world, trying to stand out over the rest of them, trying to impose HIS will over his neighbouring nations through force and coercion.

This posture and this election of Mosheh reveals to us that he was marked by four fundamental features of character, which made him to be chosen by Elohim to lead His People: (1) his extreme humbleness; (2) his submission to ADONAI´s will; (3) his humility before the rest of them; and (4) his spirit of fear of Adonai (RUACH IR’AT ADONAI). These four character features reflect the type of heart reflect the type of heart Mosheh had and we need to acquire from Elohim, if we wish to service Him as worshipping slaves/ov/Dim as we have to be before Him, as says Rom 1:1: “SHA/ul, worshipping slave/ov/ED of Elohim…”

Humility shows us what we really are in front of the Creator of the Universe: nothing; dust (ada/MAH), from where the name “Adam” comes, whose final destiny is the same dust of the earth from where we came primordially. (Humility is not the same as “inferiority complex”: this last is regarding the people that surrounds us, and is harmful to have it, and we need to heal from it.) Humility refers to our self-concept regarding Elohim and is very favorable to have it.

It says in MI/kha 6:8: “And…what ADONAI demands of you? No more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”

Humility is to understand in our heart, not only in our mind, that every ability we possess comes from Elohim and is not any merit of ours. He did it like this so that we can serve Him better. He that BELIEVES this in his heart, not in the flap of his coat, this one has true humbleness.

HOW TO GET TO HAVE HUMILITY, SUBMISSION, COMPASSION AND FEAR OF ADONAI

Our submission to the will of Adonai is going to do wonderous things regarding our humility. Doing His will instead of ours, naturally makes usw more humble, since we begin to see how what we wished, many times happens, without almost no effort at all from us (apart from praying intensely, of course) and how is the will of Adonai is the only thing which is going to become reality. Yeshua said in Yochanan/John 15:11: “I told you this so that my joy, sim/CHAH be within you and your sim/KHA be total, sha/LEM. Spiritual sim/KHA comes from being in the Presence of Elohim. He is sim/KHA; He is joy, O/sher, so, being at His feet every day not only brings us knowledge about Him, but gives us His joy. This is spiritual happiness, as we said in a recent parashah, which is different from the happiness of the body or the mind. Spiritual happiness is transmitted by His Ruakh when we are in His will and submitted to Him. Then it comes down to us His shalom and His shal/VAH (inner calm.)

There are several types of subjection which are necessary for us: subjection to Adonai. As in Jacob 4:7: “Get under (the order of) Elohim; resist ha satan and he will flee from you.” (Almost always, this verse is quoted without the first (and key part): “Get under the order of Elohim).” If we do not do this, ha satan will NOT flee from us! We have to submit ourselves to our Messianic Rabbis (Heb. 13:7). We have to submit ourselves to the national authorities (1st P. 2:13.) We have to receive humiliation and evil given to us with inner calm/shal/VAH (1st P. 3:8-17). This shal/VAH does not come automatically. It is cultivated many times with our tears, but it is our decision to act with shalvah each time we are being offended or insulted. By last, let us learn to forgive everyone—EVERY DAY. Matt 23:11. To conclude, we have to examine every week our heart to see how much of Korakh we have and to ask the heart and the mind of Yeshua within us, to be increasingly more like Him.

The WORLDWIDE MESSIANIC JUDAISM movement we are a part of, as the spirit of Israel it is, has a special function to accomplish at this time: to exhibit Mosheh´s character in its Messianic Leaders as well as in its Messianic leaders, as in their Synagogues as a whole: dependence from Elohim even to the minimum point; humility, inner shal/VAH, trust/bita/KHON/trust before the attacks of the enemy, ha satan and his human help, those who pray for our destruction and the Korakhs within our own synagogues, which have not understood yet the message of the chain command. Our job is to be a testimony of bita/KHON/trust, and of shal/VAH/inner calm in front of the everyone´s attachs against us. Our task is not easy, but we must try to be like Mosheh and not like Korakh. All of this will have its rewards from Elohim, who sees everything. Nothing we say or do or do not wish to do, will be without reward or without punishment. Let us behave every minute of our life and with everyone that Elohim puts in our way as the true bnei Elohim/sons of Elohim we wish to become.

PARASHAH COMENTARY

“THE SECRETS TO A HAPPY MARRIAGE”

THE COMPLETION OF TWO OPPOSITE PERSONS

There are three of the most important decisions we may take in our lives: 1) to get to know Elohim of Israel, accepting Ieshuah as our lord and saviour; 2) having a successful and long lasting career and or profession; and 3) knowing our future husband/wife. Let us not forget that the human race began with Adam and Eve's marriage and that the grand historic "finale" is the wedding of Ieshuah with His Jewish fiancee; the Jews all over the world, as blood or by faith.

Marriage is one of the most perfect and clear symbols of our relationship with Elohim, as Elohim married Israel (Ez. 16), with whome He made a ketubah (marriage contract) which is the Tanaj and Ieshuah will soon be married to His Jewish Fiancee (Jer. 31:31-37), with whom He also made a ketubah, the Renewed Covenant. Nevertheless, in real life, success in marriage is not something normal that comes natural but it's the conjunction of various factors.

Uno de estos factores tiene que ver con los pactos. Un matrimonio eficaz y duradero, es un matrimonio fundado sobre un pacto/brít, como el del Padre con Israel, y el de Ieshúa con los judíos mesiánicos por sangre y/o por fe. Este pacto debe ser hecho entre los cónyuges entre sí, y con Elohím.

At the same time, marriage itself-and this is far more important in itself- must be made "in the Heavens" and not only on earth, humanly speaking. Ideally, the perfect marriage is when Elohim is the one that joins an "Adam" with his "Eve", each man with his "opposite help". Why does it say, in Bereshit "ezráh kenéguedló/opposite help”? Because people get a long much better when they're very different from one another, with different abilities, with different characters and with different ambitions and desires. The key to this is the complementation: different people complement each other. What one does not know hoe to do or does not like to do, the other person does and vice versa. That's why Elohim said “keneguedlo”/opposite, and that's how it is in the daily reality.

If the pact with Elohim is properly grounded, the marriage will succeed no matter what. Properly grounded means, for us, grounded in the obedience, the respect and the fear towards Elohim. The person that fears Elohim will manage his relationship in a very different way than someone that does not have Elohim, or he has Elohim but does not fear Him but does his own will no matter what: and that person that doesn't have Elohim or does not fear Him, will have his marriage relationship in a hurry. Sooner or later things will get complicated in his/her marriage because as it's said in Hebrew "basar ve dam" we're only flesh and blood and without Elohim to console us, to sustain us and to aid us, everything turns pich dark faster to a irrecoverable point.

FRIENDSHIP AMONG SPOUSES

Another important point of a successful marriage is that not only should they get along but they should also become great friends between them with a true friendship that is above the marriage itself. There is a huge difference between being married and being friends. You can be married to someone and be enemies with that person or not even understand one another, or being married and complementing that union with true, sincere and open friendship, of mutual help, of mutual comfort and of trying to help that "friend" spouse in that which he/she needs like every good friend would. Another factor in this matrimonial friendship is to help the spouse that's below to achieve higher grounds in order to level him/her to your level in any topic needed. The one that knows how to do something helps the other that doesn't so that that one can reach a higher level and that is thanked by the spouse whether he/she understands it or not, whether he/she is aware of it or not and so the friendship strengthens between them.

THE DESIRE OF SUCCEEDING

A third factor in this friendly marriage is a crucial desire to succeed, to achieve a successful marriage, and not be swayed by enemy attacks and moods, an enemy that wants to see us dissolve, to be successful, making marriage a boxing match round after round, whether physical or verbal, with our active support.

The husband is the head of household, or should be, according to 1 Corinthians 11: 3, "the husband is the head of the woman." Otherwise, in a household where the husband is absent in practice, in some way or another, things go wrong, even if it takes time to realize. The woman is the neck of double body, as close to the head. She must support and help her husband. He must approve and praise her in everything she does, especially on what she really does well. When it works this way, we act with the desire to succeed, and Elohim will help us do that, because he began the marriage, if indeed He was.

One of the strongest obligations spouse is to provide emotional, religious, social and economic security to the wife. The husband is responsible for providing for the family, including the children, present or future. Emotional, religious, social and financial security in the bride is the sign that the husband is fulfilling its role fully within marriage, and that everything is going as it should go. When one of these factors are missing, the marriage is likely to begin to slip and should make an effort to reinforce what is wrong before it's too late.

“MET” VERSUS “SLEPT”

Says Bereshit 4:1, "And Adam knew his wife, Eve, and gave birth to Kain." "Knowing" has a fuller connotation in Hebrew than in any other language. When in the Tanakh someone did not love or married a woman, but had intercourse with her, says in Hebrew "slept" with her, which is a long way from "knowing" - within marriage approved by Elohim and guided by him.

Therefore, relations are better, much better, when everything is done within the legal framework of marriage, and the marriage made by Elohim when we marry the "basherte" or the "basherter" (the one Elohim chose to be our spouse) that is ideal for every marriage, even today, that we are in a "modern" era. The ketubah, the marriage certificate, which seals the pact between the fiancees, is a guarantee of blessing of Elohim, as it is within His will to get married, not to have intimate relationships only, without doing so. The first is holy and blessed; the second is "fornication" and "adultery" and brings the curse of Elohim.

The "knowing" is not merely a physical relationship, but empathizing with each other, involving all areas of our lives: emotional, social (in the eyes of others), physical, intellectual, and especially spiritual, in the eyes of Elohim. It is an opening of a personality with the other and each other.

The knowing also means knowing oneself to the point of understanding who we are, what our destiny marked by Elohim, and where we should go, according to His will. Knowing this, we know what we need, what we need, where to get it, and with whom. Marriage is meant to complete what each lacks to be a whole.

FOCUS ON GIVING OR RECEIVING

Finally, one of the important factors in a marriage, is deciding to focus on giving rather than receiving. Elohim is pure goodness, and to externalize that goodness, He created the universe, so that He could exercise the kindness of giving. Elohim do not need anything from anyone. Her just wanted to have someone to give His kindness.

In marriage this is another key: we must focus on giving our spouse, and not just expect to receive. And the more we receive from our spouse the more we must commit ourselves and with Elohim, to give to our spouse, to raise our marriage to higher and higher levels, doing as Elohim and becoming similar to him, every month, every year . Each time we give, we are imitating Elohim. We must learn to see giving as an end in itself, without expecting anything in return, but knowing that we are imitating Elohim on this, and that will benefit the happiness of our marriage.

Love is a result of giving. The more one is dedicated to giving, one is more capable of loving. You feel this, there is no need to study a lot about it, because it is self-evident as is practiced.

To conclude, we must study and analyze these factors that make a marriage a symbol of our marriage with Elohim, to become every year more and more like our model made with Elohim.
